Studio RUUM is an architectural and interior design studio based in North London. We work across residential and commercial projects, offering both architectural and interior design services under one roof.
Our approach is practical, thoughtful, and people-focused. We believe good design should feel effortless, spaces should function well, feel calm, and support the way people live and work every day.
We guide our clients from early concepts and planning through to layouts, interiors, lighting, and finishes, providing clear advice and realistic solutions at every stage.

Hi, I’m Merve, founder of Studio RUUM.

I established Studio RUUM in London in 2021, bringing together my architectural background and passion for interior design. I lead the creative direction of the studio, working across both residential and commercial projects, from planning strategy and spatial layouts to interiors, lighting, and material finishes.
​
I’m very hands-on and practical in my approach, focusing on creating spaces that function beautifully as well as look great. I believe in clear planning, thoughtful design, and honest advice, so clients feel supported and confident throughout the entire process.
Burcu Dede
Co-Owner
Hi, I’m Burcu, co-owner and planning partner at Studio RUUM.

Merve and I have been friends since university, and in 2024 I joined Studio RUUM as a partner. We share the business and work closely together, combining creative design with strong planning and technical expertise.
​
I lead on planning applications, council coordination, and navigating regulations, ensuring projects move forward smoothly and realistically. I enjoy solving complex planning challenges and turning constraints into clear, workable solutions for our clients.
